This month a film we have loved Apex and thanks to them we have been jamming out to Chemical Brothers since. A survival action/thriller can be found on Netflix. If you haven't seen it all over Tik Tok, you need to venture yourself to the world of Netflix, get some snacks and have a watch.
A mountain climber, Charlize Theron who is trying to seek comfort during her grief in the Australian wilderness finds herself being hunted by a serial killer, Taron Egerton in a game of cat and mouse.
When I saw this advert on Netflix that it was something coming soon, I was already hooked nevermind whilst watching it. As a big Taron Egerton fan, it only made my admiration for his acting and talent grow. This film was gripping and from the start I didn't know where it was going to end. The build up to the mystery of people going missing in the wilderness led you to believe a certain narrative. Which was completely wrong and something so much darker and scarier.
The characters within this movie were incredible, especially the serial killer for myself. His demeanor and the way he presented himself gave you chills and felt disgusted by him. Which is exactly the goal for a villain. With the setting it was exciting. Being in the wild and seeing the impressive moves Theron has to give. From kayaking to climbing it was an experience to watch just in itself.
The music was a comedic part. Playing Chemical Brothers ,it lead to the game of cat and mouse as Theron is going to be hunted. Here at Luna, we wish we had some of Egerton's moves too.
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this film. It was a refreshing storyline I hadn't personally watched before and kept me going throughout. The build up and story till the end was one of my favorites so far this year when it comes to thrillers.
I rate this 4 stars.
