May TV

As we are wrapping up for May there is no better time than to look back on what we have joyed and not on the telly.

Amandaland S2:

This is a British Comedy spin off from Motherland as Amanda navigates life in a new home.

Last month we loved the first season to be granted with pleasure by another. I was concerned if it would be just as good and it did. It kept up with the daft dramas and in Amanda style. One thing I wish they had delved into was the story carrying on. They didn't clear up if the romance between her and Mal is going to happen. I enjoyed the new characters. They stepped up with the rest of the characters. But the only problem is I need more.

Spongebob Squarepants: Search for SquarePants

From the TV show original, Spongebob wants to prove his bravery to Mr. Krabs so he sets sail on a ghost pirate ship known as the “Flying Dutchman”.

I am a lover of cartoons which is no surprise here. But even more so a bigger lover of Spongebob. In some of the previous films I have been hit and miss with them but I loved it. It felt very nostalgic for me and overall really fun to adventure around Bikini Bottom. What more do you want than that?

Send Help:

An overworked and unappreciated analyst jets away with her arrogant boss. When the plane crashes they become stranded on a remote jungle island.

This was a movie when I saw the trailer I really wanted to see in the cinema. On the whole i did enjoy the stranded survival angle and of course it being rachel mcadams and dylan o biren together too. I felt I couldn't pinpoint what genre I would fit in as. It is labeled as a horror/thriller and for sure I wouldn't pin it as a horror. It had some funny elements to it and I definitely didn't see the story leading to where it ended. I would recommend it but if you were looking for a horror it is not the one, more of a thriller.

Man on Fire:

Another series but this time an intense revenge thriller about a burnt-out former CIA operative who is hired as a bodyguard for a wealthy family.

This was all the action you could ever need. It was fast paced, twisted and shocking. There were plenty of plot twists and shocks. Many times I would sit with my jaw dropped. Even better it was left on a cliffhanger leading to the assumption of another season coming. I would 100% recommend it.
