The Importance of Self-Expression

You start off in life being asked "what do you want to be when you are older?", with no concept of how our world works, anything is possible. An astronaut, a dancer, a rockstar and a painter, until that becomes no longer realistic and you start to be guided towards activities that do not fuel your passions in life but instead are conventional to become a moving part in society.
This pattern repeats itself for this such as career, fashion and shapes how a person goes on to live their life and by accepting and therefore going on to feed this cycle, it becomes detrimental to the wellbeing of humanity. Suddenly no one is completely fulfilled with life, yes you have been able to work a job that keeps you afloat and you may follow the same interests as your colleagues, but are you satisfied with that? We experience one life so why not use it to its fullest?
Let us experience what makes us truly happy and follow our dreams as we once aspired to as children. It may be different or unconventional to societal norms but that is ok!
There is beauty in difference and when people give into their own desires to start expressing themselves life will be so much more fulfilling, new and interesting people to meet and a new found excitement for even the most mundane activities because now they are things you actually want to do.
