The Right Place

A question that comes up often for a lot of people. Time can go by and we are chasing one thing after another. When you are young you follow what everyone else is doing the same old narratives. When you take that next step of not being a child anymore you wonder if you've just done what everyone else has because it was easier than to think outside of the box. How we feel can change a lot of decisions and some things don't always feel right and our lives can look different to our friends. We are brainwashed to follow the normal order being born, school, further education and settle.
That's not for everyone and doesn't suit everyone's ambition and personalities. In this modern age you can get away with breaking the structure whereas 'back in the day' for example you would never catch a young woman become successful and have no children at the age of thirty. There are so many different paths within our social and work lives. Many different paths to being successful. Everyone wants to be successful but success looks different on everyone. Success might be to your neighbour getting a dog and being married. The next person might be to write a book. But trusting the journey is hard am I right?
We can look at this question in a physical or mental place. Waiting around for just something to change brings up the question: am I in the right place? Of course you are going to question everything especially if things don't drastically change over night. A lot of people don’t consider time within their future or present plans. Good things that are worth it take time. I remember my old school teacher saying to me short term pain for long term gain. In reality it might feel like a long time but compared to the final result it's nothing and will be forgotten one day.
This is where patience comes from what you thought would once happen and the place you imagined to be, might be somewhere or something else. Something better! Things can easily change within a second something you hadn't even thought about and shake your whole world but it could be a good sign from the universe to move in a different direction Sometimes we make decisions and end up in a new city and it feels like you should be back home in your childhood bed saying goodnight to your parents.
Things can feel so right and so wrong but trust the timing you got here, there is a reason.
