The Start of a New Year

January, 2026.
We’re here again. Another year, another chance, a reset button.
For most people, the new year means new journals, vision boards, and bold resolutions. For others, it’s just another Thursday, another month with bills to be paid and responsibilities to shoulder.
And maybe that’s okay.
It’s more than fine that you haven’t bought ten different planners for different phases of your life. It’s more than fine that you don’t feel overjoyed at the thought of a new year. It’s more than fine that you don’t have a list of things you want to achieve, that you don’t have a ‘new year, new me’ plan.
Modern culture tells us that January means the start of a new you, with new habits and new hobbies. But what if you want it different? What if you just want to be honest about where you are right now?
Your 2026 doesn’t need grand declarations, and January isn’t the start of a countdown. Make smaller promises. Rest without feeling guilty. Breathe without worries. Show up more for you.
If all you’ve been able to do is make it, survive, that’s more than enough.
Happy New Year.
