TOO MUCH - the Kid Laroi

"If we had the chance and the time to spend, would you do it again?"

Our ears have been blessed with a trio I never thought would work.

The Kid Laroi, Central Cee and Jung Kook came together and released a song I never knew I needed.

The Kid Laroi is back after two years starting it off with this groovy hip hop rap song.

Jung Kook, BTS member and Central Cee add their sparkle with their vocals.

Back to the first question though, would you do it again?

This song is for all the people who were once loved up and now heartbroken left with questions.

The feeling of leaving something or someone behind without closure or wondering if they actually loved you, was invested in your relationship or simply did it mean anything?

The hurtful overthinking of what went wrong and if certain things didn't happen would have led to the same result, we will never know.

It is hard to get through that feeling but sometimes no closure is the closure.

The no reaching out, no apology or any answer speaks enough volume for you to move on.

We can't help but wonder though.

I may be biassed but my favourite part of the song was the Kid Laroi.

You could feel his pain and you could feel it with him through his voice especially at the end when he screams "tell me was it too much"

The idea of the song of feeling "too much" correlates with people differently either doing too much within the relationship and it being one sided.

Or feeling like your emotions are pouring out of you for them and it is not being reciprocated back.

I feel that Kid Laroi's verses took on a destructive angle to the idea of "too much".

That he "thought it was good but it changed" shows his over analysing between the two of them.

It gave hints of toxicity being that throughout their relationship he never knew whether he was coming or going.

"Hit the store and your wardrobes replaced".

The song delves into the aftermath of a breakup how they were someone you thought you knew but post breakup everything you once thought like their style has been changed completely.

"Now you are calling your friends cause I'm gone again".

This is a very typical position that many have either been in or seen.

Filling a void either to stop thinking about them or loneliness which can be looked at as self destruct depending on the person trying to navigate getting through a breakup.

"Let me love you the way that I do now, I never knew how"

And finally at the end of the song there is a sad reality which is falling in love with someone that isn't emotionally equipped at the time to be in a relationship.

Until they are and it's too late and you can't go back, now left with what if's.
