A Found Community

Being a human is such a unique experience, we all live and have such different lifestyles, so even though we all share existing as the same species, no life is the same. This makes our existence very special because we are always exploring and experiencing different things constantly. However, this feeling of an ever-changing life can become very intimidating in the sense that there are endless options available and only so much time for us to find ourselves! 

This leads us to the idea of finding a community! Knowing something you enjoy is a gateway to experiencing it with likeminded people, therefore helping you make outside connections whilst enjoying what you are partaking in. Having a found community lets you share your passions with others who feel a similar way, making the idea of endless opportunities less scary because it represents acceptance in experiencing different passions in life. 

Additionally, the idea of becoming part of a community acts as a symbol, showing you aren’t on your own in this life, and everyone is trying to do the same as you! Finding things you enjoy and seeing other people partaking in this exploration eases the discomfort of uncertainty and change because everyone is in the same boat in trying to enjoy their own unique life.  

Furthermore, the sense of community is really beneficial for your mental well being because it stops any intrusions of feeling isolated or alienated, as if you are going through life alone. Realistically, no one knows what they are doing! And this is everyone’s first try in life so having that sense of a team helps you to feel accepted in this big wide world.
