On writing with ADHD

My notes app is filled

With poetry and lists and ideas

And talking points for therapy

Google says my storage is full

And i had to increase my cloud

Notebooks sit on the shelf

Half filled and collecting dust

Because when you’re a writer with adhd

Collecting the thoughts that fly

At warp speed

Faster than you can type

And quicker than you can write

On occasion

The thing you love most

Keeps you frozen
