Here at Luna we love books and love talking about them too! This post is all about what we have on our Kindles at the moment:

Magnolia Parks:

A romance contemporary fiction novel written by Jess Hastings, for lovers of Magnolia Parks a fresh new love story has started.

Londoner Georgia, who is estranged from her family since falling out years ago. Suddenly their father dies, which leads her to visit the states for the funeral. When she visits, she meets her brother's sponsor, Sam, for his alcoholism tensions rise as they become connected romantically. In the background Georgia's brother develops feelings for his sponsor leaving her in a predicament while holding onto the only family she has. Meanwhile after losing their father his hidden past and secrets start to unravel.

The Couple Before Us:

Daniel Hurst is supplying us with a thriller to keep us up at 3am. Personally I think it is one of the best times to read, no distractions, just quiet and in your own world.

After moving into a beautiful house to start a family with a baby to be, comes with a dark history of the couple before. Warning notes aren't enough to push the new budding family away. After being told they would be first to live there, could it all be a lie. Paranoi kicks in and secrets to unravel. To come to a realisation that they should have run before they couldn't.

Sugar, Baby:

A story of self discovery next alongside topics of race, beauty and class in this contemporary fiction. This story follows Agnes, a girl in her twenties who feels lost. From being a cleaner and wasting her money in the club she is constantly trying to find distraction. Through her work she befriends one of her clients who dates rich older men. She realizes this is her escape. When thrown out of her home she moves in with her client she navigates what fulfillment really means to her.

Soy Sauce for Beginners:

A story of Asian Literature delves into the sacrifices women can make for the search of a place to call home, alongside all the foodie stories to appreciate family. Gretchen is thirty and decides to leave her marriage. This means moving back home. But then she becomes face to face with the problems she left behind. Being around her family only dulls her sparkle but only leads herself into a new romance. With two parents on the sidelines in different countries Gretchen must decide if she should go back to her marriage or sacrifice it all and join her family.

Sugar:

Apparently we can't get away from the word sugar this month. This story is very much different, darker. To mix it up we have a horror, something we wish we read more of.

Satara finds out her husband is having an affair with her best friend. But to keep her secrets safe with her she has to keep her sweet. Her fate leads her to become involved with a Love Witch to help with her predicament. With this new power she can manipulate others however she wants. But this only leads to vulnerability. A story of boundaries within desire and a quest for love in the world of the suburban seventies.
