I love Hardin Scott as much as the next girl until I dated him.
Music, films, books and our phones are full of men and women that are toxic whether real or fake.
This only lets ourselves be influenced and digest these behaviours.
Now I am not saying that everyone does but particularly the younger generation because we don't know any better.
I will keep saying this social media can be the devil and ruin a lot of things.
Every twenty something person that has matured looks back at previous relationships and thinks why did I act like that.
If you don't, lets start doing some work.
Which is perfectly normal, making mistakes but making the same mistake twice that's when it is a problem.
As they say once a mistake, twice a choice.

Some may not realise they are portraying these behaviors till someone points them out.
The modern day era let's most people get away with toxic behaviors because most won't stand up and refuse to put up with it.
We let these people act out of themselves, which makes it normalised.
Most people realise after, what was and wasn't.
But then it can be too late and scars can start to form into ourselves and other relationships.
If you are lucky, plot twist you end up morphing into your significant other and become the toxic one.
It is like pass the parcel.
This is what the goal shouldn't be.
It can be hard when we move on because you can go into default and expect certain behaviors from our new lovers and yourself allowing space for toxicity to grow.
If more people learnt and recognised what someone is dealing right in front of them (which is a hot plate of toxicness) then we wouldn't be hesitant to say no.
