Come along for the ride where everyday feels like a holiday.
That is such an unrealistic way to expect how life goes.
As you get older out of your adolescent years you come to a halt and realise not everything isn't quite what you expected.
This isn't entirely a bad thing.
Weirdly people are manufactured to think in our brains that it is not normal if things go wrong.
Most of us can get too used to it too.
Then people who become hit with problems and bumps don't know how to deal with them as well as they would have liked.
One thing people don't learn quickly is that life isn’t perfect.
The quicker we do, the better life is in our heads, not leaving us as disappointed.
You are not expected to live everyday to the fullest.
It is impossible.
There are days where you have to work, to care for people and tick off priorities to get through the week.
Little wins are bigger than you think for you and your surroundings.
Over time you come to realise that not everything goes to plan and that’s okay.
Every chapter looks different all the time, we have different people in the background, seasons, different places visited and so on.
Sometimes some seasons, some days don’t go exactly to plan.
This is where you have to leave the universe to choose what is in store.
It can be hard to feel life is good, but it’s all about perspective and whether you see what the good parts are in your life for example, family, friends, living situation.
When things do go wrong you’ve always got those to reflect on and remember.
Finding the positive things in your life helps when things are rocky.
If there wasn't bad there definitely wouldn't be good in the world.
This expectation of life being supposed to be perfect and always having the best summer, or having the best Christmas and making the most of your time is such a pressure to constantly upkeep.
There are plenty of pressures within society, let's not add another one.
As long as you’re happy and you are able to deal with the things that you are faced with, it doesn’t matter if your life isn’t what everyone thinks is "perfect".
We look too much into other people's lives, thinking they’re perfect when in reality they’re not, mostly because of social media these days.
For example we don’t have to go to the gym at 6am.
Have everything figured out by 8am and then tell everyone about it to make our life seem perfect.
Everyone knows that is unrealistic for a lot of people because if it was the case everyone would be doing it.
Creating this facade will always make you question: are you doing it for you or everyone else?
Any bets it is for other people.
Do what makes you feel good and your heart full.
And most of do it for survival to get through the best and the hard times.
Whether you realise it or not you have complete control with your life and you can always choose to see the best bits and make them too.
And it doesn't have to go to plan and certainly doesn't have to be like everyones too!
