Meditation

Meditation is always something that I never realise how amazing the effects are.

How much it helps!

As someone who was going through something that didn’t really know how to relax or calm down from, my Auntie said to me that they’ve been doing meditation, I was like surely not?

In the past a lot of my friends have told me to try meditation and see how I get on with it.

I just couldn’t understand how just breathing really actually helped so I downloaded an app on my phone which I think helped a lot because I was someone who didn’t really know much about meditation.

It’s good to be guided through the meditation with someone or either someone on your phone or video.

It really helped me and I really made such a difference at night, trying to calm me down because I was fine throughout the day but getting in from a long day when I needed to actually wind down and I could never do it.

Even now with reading my head was running 1000mph and just being present and sitting there has done wonders.

Those feelings of rope wrapped around my chest lossened so I could breathe again, any worries uncontrollable worries gone for a little while.

That's what is great about meditation, you don’t have to do it for that long, you can do it for five minutes, 10 minutes, however long you want to do it.

The amount of times that it got me to sleep was a game changer and times in the day when I was really panicking.

Just to have a minute to myself and be brought back down to earth when I was thinking about negative things or having bad thoughts about situations.

If you are someone who doesn’t believe in meditation please try at least and even if you feel like you’re not going to think it will work, just try.

Try and focus.

Believing it and seeing what comes out of it because I’m sure there is going to be more benefits than anything else.
