Moving away

Moving away is inevitable whether that it is around the corner, to another city or across the world.

We all at some point will move out either on our own, with a friend or partner.

And it is safe to say it can be a very scary milestone in life.

When all you have ever known is living at home with your family you get used to your sibling walking into your room tormenting and essentially someone always being around whether you like it or not.

Only because it is scary doesn't mean it is a bad thing.

They can be disguised as some of the best things.

It can be a fresh start for a lot of people, a new chapter.

It is a good way to start somewhere new and put old things behind but always make sure you never forget about where you came from because it is just as important.

Moving out allows you to learn about not only the world we live in but yourself the most.

You are put to the test to survive on your own and do everything yourself like a puzzle.

Working through finances, routines and a new life.

If you move away to another city or outside of your town/village this is a great way to be away from any history or negativity that you feel is holding you back.

As long as you work through them to a point and don't expect everything to disappear just because you are far away then everything will follow, as you wish.

For some change can be a hard thing to navigate and when this happens we forget the now.

To be able to take in this new chapter and take the fun out of it.

It can be difficult and easier said than done but being appreciative of this step and how far you have come is good to recognise the change.

From my own experience I got wrapped into the craziness and never felt present until after and now I always want to embrace having these places to live because you never know how long you are going to be there.

This happens more so when you get comfortable.

Whoever you move out with, that can be a learning curve working with people who have lived different lifestyles.

This can work out well for a lot but for some not so much.

But it is okay sometimes not everyone is who they seem.

That isn't to say that they aren't for you in the world but more not for you in a home environment.

This helps build you up into different worlds that you have never lived in.

But don't forget the mental side to leaving your childhood home because for some that are lucky enough to have a home that they loved, the detachment of being away can be hard to get used to.

Even if you come from an unhappy home and can't wait to move out it can feel like a reward to get out but those little comforts you will carry into your home.

We all have a "home" but it is your choice where that is, for some its multiple places or one.

Sometimes it isn't a place, it's a person you move along with.

Wherever you choose that place, make sure it is for you and is a safe, happy place.
